In this third installment, we’re featuring our new Lead Concierge, Alison Nikula, and Second Shift Concierge, Kamilla Mercado. Read below for interviews with each team member about their role at Market Central, favorite things about our community, and what they love about Central Square.
Alison Nikula, Lead Concierge
What does your role entail on a daily basis?
→ On a daily basis I keep track of deliveries throughout the day, interact with residents and guests in the lobby of Market Central, and keep things running smoothly.
What’s your favorite thing about the Market Central community?
→ Everyone at Market Central was so welcoming and nice; it makes working here so enjoyable being in such a friendly community.
Do you have a favorite amenity space?
→ My favorite amenity space is the 8th floor lounge area with its beautiful view of the city.
What’s your favorite thing about Central Square?
→ My favorite thing about Central Square is all of the little shops you can explore. It is a great area to just walk around to find something new.
Kamilla Mercado, Second Shift Concierge
What does your role entail on a daily basis?
→ On a daily basis, I usually hand out packages, accept deliveries (including food), and make sure the buildings are clean and safe.
What’s your favorite thing about the Market Central community?
→ My favorite thing about Market Central is the residents! It’s fun getting to know them and chatting while they’re passing by.
Do you have a favorite amenity space?
→ My favorite amenity space would have to be the 5th floor lounge at Link because it always smells like fresh laundry.
What’s your favorite thing about Central Square?
→ My favorite thing about Central Square is the proximity to many stores and restaurants.
